Tuesday Sept 30, 2008
Where has this year gone. I looked up and we are almost to the Holidays. Imagine my shock when I picked up a clients insurance policy to process the renewal and DECEMBER 2008 popped up. WOW! Didn't we just celebrate Christmas.
I remeber someone once telling me that time flies as you get older. I never believed them till now. One minute my kids or toddlers and the next they are TEENS! Now their LOUD MOUTH, KNOW IT ALLS instead of loving, funny, exploring little boys. WOW!
I had some good news today... I may have the house that I applied for. I should know tomorrow. I can't wait. Both the boys will have their own rooms finally and no more renting, Apartments or LOUD MUSIC at 2-3 am in the morning.
I just got news yesterday that my GOD DAUGHTER is getting Married in March. SHOCK! I was a Senior in High School when she was born.... April 27th. We share the same birthday. It just seems life has slipped by and all of a sudden I don't know where it went.
I remember when I use to wish I was 21! You know, the LEGAL age. It's not all it was cracked up to be.
So remember: Live, Laugh and Love. Never go to sleep made and always tell your loved ones you love them, because you never know when tomorrow wont get here.

Making Memories
I have not been around lately as I have been working my tail off. However, I took some time this past weekend to spend with the kids and my family and just have a little good old fashion country fun. We all got together and went out to the land and let the kids play and explore the land. That evening we had friends over and we roasted weiners and marshmellows campfire style. While the kids played, the adults brewed campfire coffee and listened to old cowboy stories. Sometimes, I think the way our grandparents lived was a whole lot better. While they might have worked hard life was a lot more simpler and people enjoyed and appreciated life and their family.
This weekend made me realized just how lucky I am and how thankful I am to be who I am.
Tonight, Dustin was recognized at the Scout Honor Court and received his advancement to Tenderfoot. Next level is 2nd Class.

Learning to Bow Hunt
While out on the farm, Chris (WENONA's ) Hubby showed she and I how to shoot a bow. Talking about HARD. Well, lets start by saying this is his bow. What you can see is he has some IRON packed in those arms and it is way to much bow for she or I. However, what an awesome looking teacher don't you think. LOL
Now, while this looks painful and really awful, it was just part of having fun. It was a very hard lesson in HOW NOT to hold the bow. And trust me I learned. Do not Try this at HOME, we are Professional IDIOTS!
And after all that, at least I hit the target, not were I aimed, but being it was my first time ever.....(I DIDNT HAVE TO GO HUNTING FOR THE BOW). Had it been a deer...... well, that is for another day.
Moral of this story:
Compond Bow: $500-600 (guessing here)
Private Lesson: A few Bumps and Brusies (but great instructor)
Spending time with Family: PRICELESS
We actually had a blast doing this. We got to spend time with the family while the kids played out on the land and had fun in the dirt and mud. Ronnie and the kids put up tents while we got a bow lesson. Then we went down to the pond to see all the animal tracks that we have out there and then to the Medicine Show Play downtown that Gandma was in. We had a wonderful night. Didn't cost a thing and everyone had a blast.
To My Stalker
I just wanted the person who was watching me to know that I know your watching. Your not very smart. I know you have been watching me for quiet some time and I think it is really sad that you have nothing better to do that watch me. However, I am quiet flattered.
If you were any kinda of woman you would just email me or contact me. I know you have all the information.
Hope you enjoy your reading.
Oh and to all my wonderful friends and family out there. LOVE YA! Have an AWESOME WEEK
Love Robin

Calgon Take Me Away
Hey All....
Sorry it has been so long since i have been able to drop in, but work has been keeping me really busy. My part-time job has now become a second full-time job. I only see my self in the mirror as I am leaving in the morning or coming home at night.
This week has been total melt down week. I took off on Tuesday Night so I could rest and ended up spending the night in the ER because my oldest son decided not to follow instructions and go outside with out his shoes on and his foot and a piece of glass decided to get into a fight. The glass won. He had to have stitches and it was jut ugly.... did I mention I don't do needles or my childs blood very well. However, he handled the whole situation very well. He walked into the house and told me he cut his foot and needed a band aide. OK!
Tonight was meet the teacher night at Ben Franklin and I received a phone call from one of the other PTA moms asking me if I could help sell SPIRIT SHIRTS! Why me you ask... seems I got elected to the PTA Board. Oh, maybe we ought to take some time and read the papers our children bring home the first day of school instead of just signing duplicate forms. HA HA!
Seems one of those forms last year was saying I would volunteer for the PTA. So, at some meeting I WAS NOT present at, I got elected. Now I hold an office position....! And I will be helping with parties and field day and who knows what else. My main responsiblity is the 6th GRADE party. OH MY! While at the meet the teacher night, my son informed his teacher while I was down stairs saleing shirts that his mom loved to volunteer and signed me up to help with who knows what. The teacher told me thanks. Your Welcome I said!
Tomorrow I have a Teacher Luncheon I have to cook for in a few minutes and Sophmore Orientation. School don't even start until Monday and I am already booked. How did that happen.
All my Scrapbooking buds are in Tahlequah tonight having a blast and I have to be home. :( Oh well! Hope they all have a blast.

I was just gonna organize my papers... HOW do we accumalate so much in such a short time? I started around 6:30 and it is now 11. Guess early to bed is out of the question tonight.

My Weekend
Well, this was a busy weekend.....
On Friday, I took 1/2 day of Vacation so I could attend a crop that I had been invited to by a new group of ladies that I just met this weekend. I had a blast.
On Saturday, I had to go let the carpet cleaners in to do our carpets at work at 8:30am ugggg! Don't know why I do this... JUST SAY NO! HA HA, afterwards I ran home and got cleaned up and took Dustin to IHOP for Breakfast (Lunch) it was about 1pm. He had to have Chocolate Chip Pancakes. Afterwards we went to the local theater here in Wichita Falls with Rosalee, Raegan and Harold to see "WESTSIDE STORY". It was really great. Afterwards we then went to watch some of the Bluegrass Festival that the Wichita Falls Parks and Recreation put on this weekend at the MPEC for FREE! YES FREE! That don't happen often and it was worth going to watch.
Today, I had to work and then came home to take a nap because I had a headache from the heat. I spent the rest of the evening cleaning house and now I am about to go to bed. Hope everyone had a great weekend.....

Where there is HOPE, there is LIFE
Well, Even though our Great Strides Walk was a hit and it is over...Our Fight is not. I would love for each of you to stop for a moment and watch this video. After you watch it finish reading this message:
Now that you have watched this video ask you self...CAN I DO SOMETHING? The answer is yes! If each and everyone of us spread the word we can EDUCATE or society about Cystic Fibrosis.
The Sooner Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is Hosting:
The 1st Annual "KICKBALL for CF" Tournment. The Event is being held on August 16, 2008 in OK City at BOOMTOWN BALL YARDS and I am putting a Team Together to help Raise Money. Thank You and Remember: Where there is Hope, there is LIFE!

Path to his Soul.....
I actually took this photo on my way home from Sherman on Christmas evening around 6pm somewhere between Wichita Falls and St. Joe Texas. I know the spot, but cant tell you the name of the town to save my life. My boyfriend had let me borrow his Rebel Camera and I had to stop and play on my way home. "I just couldn't resist." So this and about 70 other pictures of this and several other horses and about an hour later I am done.
Much to my suprise I captured this amazing image...and trust me when I say it was shear LUCK! I had gotten so wrapped up into the horses through my lens I had not noticed they had come from out in the pasture up close and personal to me at the fence. It was almost as if they enjoyed having their picture taken. I am just tickled pink this is being published. So that is my 15 seconds of fame. YEAH!

COWBOY CAMP
Day 1:
Well today was the first day of a week long adventure into the life of a Cowboy for Dustin and Raegan.....
Todays camp consisted of:
* Cleaning Stalls
* Feeding and Watering
* Grooming
*Walking
*Learning Anatormy
* Walking behind Horse-Proper ways
Dustin told me that his horses name is "Lady" and she looks like a "COW"! LOL I have not figured out why yet. He also told me in an email that while cleaning up poop in her stall she chased him...
Later in talking to him I found out that she had finished eating before he was done and was just falling him around. He said she eats to much because there was too much poop in her stall. HA HA! Hopefully, tomorrow or later this week, I will have pictures!
